Work Experience
1989-Current - Vice President/Director of Engineering, Evergreen Environmental, Inc.
Serves as expert witness for litigation involving contaminated property.
Provides on-site hazardous waste management and other environmental services for
a variety of clients. Reviews and approves cost estimates for UST closures and
cleanups, site investigations, bioremediation projects, stack testing, and
indoor air quality investigations. Provides guidance and planning for site
investigations, remedial actions, and sampling plans. Provides expert witness
testimony for environmental and pollution issues.
1966-1988 - Employed by Brown-Forman Corporation. More than 20 years of hands on and managerial experience in engineering, plant maintenance, estimating, and cost control.
Director of Corporate Services - Management and budget responsibility for eight departments from Facilities Management to Corporate Fixed Assets and Construction. Also responsible for environmental affairs and undertook asbestos abatement throughout the headquarters and production complexes in downtown Louisville.
Director of Engineering - Had budget and total responsibility for the engineering and maintenance staffs. Directed all engineering studies and projects for the plants in Kentucky and Canada. Responsible for all project presentations to senior management and cost controls during project implementations.
Senior Project Engineer - Performed engineering process studies and design changes, responsible for material handling and cost reduction studies and projects.
Group Responsibility
Performs, reviews, and approves Toxic Mold Investigations, Site Investigations, Closure
Plans, and all
Phase I, II, and III Environmental Property Assessments. Provides direction and
review for UST Closures, Remedial Investigations, Corrective Action Plans and
Risk Assessments. Specializes in remediation planning and implementation and
provides direction for mold and bioremediation projects. Directs air permitting, stack
sampling and testing activities, indoor air quality investigations, and SARA
Title III reporting. Performs principal review and guidance in budgeting and
cost control for remediation projects and studies.
