Work Experience    
1999-Current – Principal, Evergreen Environmental, Inc.  Dr. McCandless consults for operations of the company on a part-time basis, devoting a substantial amount of personal time to missionary and foundation work.  He is positioning Evergreen to be an employee owned company, thereby creating an ownership mentality among the employees which results in excellent service to all clients.

1986-1999 - President, Evergreen Environmental, Inc. Dr. McCandless has worked in the chemical industry since 1960. Beginning in 1981, he became involved with RCRA related work and has worked in all phases of operations. Dr. McCandless opened Evergreen in 1986 to fill a niche created by the sweeping legislation of new environmental regulations.

Group Responsibility
Dr. McCandless’ primary function is to be a resource for the management team and project managers.  As his involvement in actual daily operations is limited, his focus is on long range and strategic planning to ensure Evergreen’s growth and diversification as needed in today’s environmental arena.  Dr. McCandless works directly for the President and assists her as directed on various projects.
